Im using an OVH template of proxmox 3.4 and i want to enable nested virtulization in a few vm's and

Code:
cat /sys/module/kvm_intel/parameters/nested

comes back with

Code:
cat: /sys/module/kvm_intel/parameters/nested: No such file or directory

tracked it down to there being no nested file or folder... is there a command or a place to download them from???
Thanks

Hi,
Do you use the 2.6 kernel?
If yes the use the 3.10, because 2.6 nested is not working and so you don't have this dir.

Thanks couldnt find an easy guide to update the kernel so here it is
please note this is for proxmox running 3.4 but on default kernel of 2.6 older proxmox versions are different. i did this via ssh/terminal

Code:
apt-get update
apt-get install pve-kernel-3.10.0-10

Latest version as of today is 3.10.0-10
reboot and you should be on the latest version check with
Code:
uname -a

then follow this guide to enable nesting
http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Nested_Virtualization#Nested_PVE

another note
0=N
1=Y
weird how that changed xd
have fun and please remember to stop all VPS's or your asking for trouble
