Hi ...
I have created 6 different PROXMOX Servers with specific VMs running on each server. What is the best way to create image(s) of these 6 servers to deploy.
Thank you for your help.

This question may not have a real good answer from the Proxmox team. But whenever I want to duplicate a setup I will use Clonezilla http://clonezilla.org/
Be wary about the hostnames and IP addresses. If you plan to change them you will need to recreate the cluster and make sure the IPs are correct within their hosts files and that the hostnames are correct in all the used files, (I believe when I've ran into this before it was just /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname)

Otherwise the cluster view will most likely not work in the web GUI.

Regards,
Ben

Hi BEN,
Thanks for your comment.
Is there a way to inject the VMs into the current Proxmox ISO installation. So that, when Promox installs on the bare metal PC VMs are also get installed and configured.
With this solution Clonezilla is unnecessary.

I don't know that there really is, perhaps install the VMs in OEM mode so that on boot up they ask for hostname, users, and IPs and then clone that way? I really don't believe there's an answer for injecting them into the ISO. The other option may work better to in the case of future deployments if Proxmox is updated.

Anyway just my $.02

Thanks,
Ben
