Is ProxMox right for me?

I've spent several hours today reading the wiki and info I can find here. I'm a small web developer who specialised in developing and hosting a specific PHP CMS. We currently use LXC on Debian but will be soon moving servers. I like the idea of been able to use both OpenVZ and KVM. Perhaps putting most clients into their own CT and using a KVM for a dedicated MySQL that all client sites are served from.

So my questions would be;

- is PromMox a good choice for a web host company like me?
- What panel and facilities can I provide my CT clients? (was unable to find any specifics on this)
- Is there a way to track and even limit disk and bandwidth?
- Is there good reason to install from the ISO or does a minimal Debian Wheezy install provide a better path, ie. easier Software Raid and fuller functional Debian base?

Those are my main queries initially.

Thank you

this depends on many things, but I would say yes, because you are with OpenVZ and KVM much more flexible.

yes, but I don't use this feature...

proxmox is an full functional debian base! To start I would prefer to use the proxmox-image. Play a little bit with this installation. You can add software like on an normal debian system. Softwareraids are not supported by proxmox (but some people use it with success)... if you really need sw-raids you must go the debian-way and install pve ontop.
But you should use, esp. for business, an real (and fast) raidcontroller. IO and ram is much more needed than cpu-power (normaly).
