Yes, mainly for newcomers in virtualization, shows with easy-to-understand diagrams what are VMs versus containers. Thanks for the link!

The article lists what exists, but does not bring any technical details.

Not directly about this article, but mentioned occasionally to it: from my point of view there is no doubt that OpenVZ is the most professional solution - hopefully available soon for kernel 3. Docker is a different concept and can run on VMs.
