Windows Server - High CPU-Load - Add more cores?

Hi there,

i have a Win2012 Terminalserver running on a up-to-date Proxmox-Installation. Unfortunatley the CPU-Load is sometimes very high.
Currently there are 2 sockets with 4 cores assigned to that vm. I adjusted the CPU Units to 4000. How can i get more CPU-Power to that vm? More Cores? What would you recommend?
