Proxmox under Virtualbox

Hi all,

I've been struggling to get a Proxmox PVE under Virtualbox working on my OSX laptop. Unlike on my Mac Mini where IP addresses are fixed, the laptop is often online and/or the network addresses changes.

I've been through various articles and compiled a rough article on the wiki: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Virtualbox

Ok - I finally got the basics working. I'd appreciate someone else verifying that it works for them.

Hi,

I followed the article to the word and it installed just fine; good good.

I tried a slight adaption in VM Workstation and ESXi 5.5 and got the same result. It was the network configuration which was causing prior failures (http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/19084-VMWare-install-help-please?p=97863#post97863).

Great, I can now test Proxmox - yippee.

Excellent! So, have you tried making a container, and does the traffic route to and from it okay? I think some extra steps for diagnostics might be needed - not sure what those will look like yet.
