ZFS backup tool

this would appear to be something similar to what SUSE has built for btrfs (snapper), yes?

PS: why do I have to scroll so much on a web page that only has ~10 sentences on it?
/E: yea no its not the screen size, haha

FYI.

Tobias Oetiker has just announced this cool backup tool for ZFS. Since it is written in Perl it should run on any platform with ZFS. The tool is open source.

Hello again Mir

are you using znapzend with omnios ? if so I've a question.

I've got it installed and configured , this works:
Code:
znapzendzetup create  --tsformat='%Y-%m-%d-%H%M%S'  SRC '7d=>1h,3w=>1d'  rpool/ROOT/omnios DST  '7d=>1h,3m=>1d'  root@bkup:tank/znapzend/sys4-root/omnios

znapzend  --debug --runonce=rpool/ROOT/omnios

My question - how do I get the command to a cron type job?
