Hi all,

I have a 3 node cluster connected to a NFS synology NAS for storage..

I need to pull two of the three servers from this cluster essentialy breaking the cluster and end up with a standalone proxmox node.

I have some running vms which i would prefere didn't experince any downtime..

how do i do this?

Thanks

Casper

one way is probably
- live moving all/needed vms to one node,
- deleting unneeded vms, and
- removing other nodes from the cluster?

you will get a single node cluster (ie: no quorum), so if this - for any reason - is the final setup (?!?), you will need to make it permanently expect only 1 vote.
"pvecm -e 1" will do until reboot, so you could set that command at boot, or perhaps use some cman weird config like "<cman two_node="1" expected_votes="1"> </cman>"
(see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Two-Node_High_Availability_Cluster for reference)
