Good morning,

I have a new server Proliant ML350e Gen8 Intel® Xeon® E5-2407 with 4 NIC onboard + 1 HP 10GB NIC 530T.
In Proxmox managment I have all 4 NIC but not the 10GB NIC.
Can someone explain to me how to install it?
Thank you.
Andrea

I solved the problem. The server had come already assembled and the network card 10GB was installed in slot 0, the first at the top.
I opened the server and saw that the pci-e slots are divided a two blocs.
The upper block is operated by the second processor, while the lower block is operated by the first processor.
The server has only one processor. I moved the card in the lower slot and now it is working perfectly.
:D

I was going to say, I use these cards all the time with no issues.
