After live migation VM lost network connectivity (ping lost).
Ping restored if i restart VM (on same node), or live migate VM to other nodes.
Other two nodes are newer and stronger ( better cpu and more memory), but share same PROXMOX version,
I need help how to start debugging problem.

I checked interfaces and everything seems ok.

eth1, vmbr10 and eth1.10 interfaces are allways up
eth1 interface show no errors
ethtool show speed 100/Duplex Full.

/var/log/messages shows two lines after started live migration.
device eth1.10 entered promiscuous mode
kernel: vmbr10: port 1(eth1.10) entering forwarding state
Proxmox web interface show VM online.

Where to look how to debug ?
Thanks for help.

Configuration:

Proxmox version 3.1-21/93bf
3 NODE CLUSTER configuration
3 VLANS (10,20,30) vmbr10,vmbr20,vmbr30 on single interface eth1 trunk on switch.
eth0 dedicated for management
VM is Centos 6.5 64 bit

seem to
I had the same problem, in my case I turn off vm and delete network and create new network interfaces im Web GUI, is not most better but this work
proxmox version ? guest os ?

they are known bug with old qemu and old guest kernel too, with virtio nic not send gratuitous arp after live migration

Hi from 2021!
Today we faced with this issue too. pve version 5.4 os guest centos 5.8 virtio NICs. After migration lost network connection.
In few cases it was solved with change virtio to e1000
In few other cases - recreate NICs.

Thanks a lot!
Have a good day!
V.
