In another post, I got this suggestion:
yes, 2.6.32 is never working. use 3.10 on the host.

since I've never done this, how can I safely only that kernel (i guess is in pvetest) and then revert to standard, easily?
is it better download .deb package and install/remove it? will it require other dependencies?

Thx, Marco

take the .deb from pvetest repository,

then dpkg -i *.deb to install it.

it doesn't remove the old kernel.

so, you can remove it with apt-get remove ....

(and you can choose at boot in grub if you want to boot on 3.10 or 2.6.32)

worked in test cluster, but just a note:

dpkg -i package.deb triggers update-grub, but apt-get remove package does not (after reboot it's still in grub menu). Is it expected?
anyway, manually running update-grub removes removed kernel also from grub menu.
