Higher CPU Load on WinXP KVM since update to Proxmox 3

Hi,

since i updated my proxmox servers to version 3, i can see that the kvm windows xp machines has a higher cpu load. Since updated to version 3 i use memory ballooning on this xp machines. If i switch balloon to 0, there is no change. Is the higher cpu load normal?

As example i have uploaded to rrd examples.

VirtualNet Drivers on kvm02 didn´t run since updated to proxmox 3 with the latest virtio 0.159 drivers.

Myself experienced a similar behavior on this legacy OS. Running balloning and virtio storage driver 0.1.4.9.
Is there maybe a optimal CPU setting in PVE recommended?

disable tablet pointer (use vmmouse driver instead).

Just wondering where to get and how to enable the vmmouse driver within the KVM

- extract setup.exe from iso


- extract datas from setup.exe


setup.exe /A /P C:\Extract


- drivers are here


C:\extract\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\VMware\Drivers\mouse




then in windows device manager, change the driver of the ps2 mouse to the vmmouse driver


disable tablet


and restart
