I tried to update Proxmox as per http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Downloads#Update_a_running_Proxmox_Virtual_Environment_2.x_to_latest_2.3
However I am getting this error:

I couldn’t fix it so I rebooted the host and now I have this:

who installed "linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64"?

this is not a Proxmox VE packages - remove it. seems you moved from a Debian system to Proxmox VE?

I have not done anything manually. The system installed from an image that Hetzner DC have for installing Proxmox OS. I did not install ProxMox manually that's why I don't know what's happening. Will the system reboot after removing it? :(

There were 2 instances and I removed both. When I proceeded to apt-get dist-upgrade the system reinstalled those 2 again! What am I missing here? For the removal I did apt-get --purge remove <package>. I now have this:

You use a customized installation from your provider (Hetzner), so I suggest you ask Hetzner what they did here.

Ok I see what you mean.
The problem is that they provided it unsupported so no support from there either.

Anyone else from Hetzner with the same problem here maybe?
