We got a server which works on a windows 2003 database. What i want to do is, i'd like to convert it to VMDK with acronis and then add it to proxmox. The VMDK file which is created is 60GB and i can succesfully import it into my "proxmox VM". Altough the file created with Acronis is 60GB...

Is there any way to use USB-HDD device for storage purpose? And how ? Not: i try to assign my usb-hdd to vm 107 with command qm set 107 --hostusb obc2:3008 and after restarting VM nothing changed and still dont see my usb-hdd in explorer windows...

I got a file named "vm-106-disk-1.vmdk" in a 1TB Harddisk. I tried to send and overwrite this file via usb to the directory "var/lib/vz/images/106 on proxmox, but i dont know how, is there a way to do this. Note: i can able to send this file over network but, it took like 10 hours to send it...

Isnt there anyting i can do about this? Setting all admin passwords to this system is one way but we also having major difficulties while working on the guest operating system.
