I have just done a fresh install of Proxmox and I have no vzctl or vzlist?
Am I missing something? I have done lots of googling but....

Just an update. I tried Proxmox 4 and I still have packet loss issues. If login to Proxmox host and ping VM from here then II STILL have packet loss issues. Are we talking a hardware problem here? Can anyone advise? Thanks for listening and your help so far.

I had issues with using e1000 network drivers in KVM Windows VM's they would just freeze. Only noticed it on 3.3 and 3.4 changing the drivers to Virtio (network and disk) worked for me (running 3.4).

Hi Just an update. I think it was the drivers for the default e1000 network card. I had this "Windows became un-responsive issue" when using this e1000 driver on 3.3 and 3.4. The windows servers did run fine when I accessed them through the console using noVNC...

Well I have never tried that before! It look slike too much hassle. It is not desperate I recover the VM just a pain the arse to rebuild a windows rdp server as part of my test environment.

I might be being picky but good design should be explicit without chance of error to cover the worst of brain dead over stressed folk :-)...
Hi Actually I think I have this fixed for now. I disabled on the NIC's in BIOS as googling let me to an issue with 2 NIC's on the same bus being an issue in some cases and it booted fine.
