No it doesnt let you limit the user but it does give you and the user the amount of traffic they are using. Which is way more then we have now in proxmox.
Hopefully we can get the script embedded into proxmox for our users so they can see if they need to purchase more BW.
Well I did find a awesome script that lets you see the daily and monthly bw for the vps. As well as nice graphs of there usage. Would be awesome if we could replace this one with the one inside proxmox now. If i knew how i would lol.
I just opened mine up so you can look at it...
Also is it best to configure the network in the GUI of proxmox for the vmbro & bridge or should it all just be done manually via editing the interface file?
Im having trouble getting the networking to work in the KVM vps's. I can get the openvz vm to work with venet but havent gotten the veth working for kvm.
The last time I tried to setup the bridge i broke the whole servers network lol.
I have a ip block of 64 ip addresses and want to use them...
Ok i fixed it. I moved a new vps over and inside its conf it had disk quota=no so once i deleted that line it started working. Why does one vps's conf effect the whole console?
yes i just ran update and its up to date. This happened a week ago and it finally started working again. It stopped working at 12am this morning. I restarted every service but no change
Last night the proxmox server stopped reporting stats and usages. I have attached a screen shot
I tried to do service pvestatd restart but that didnt do anything
Ya im a old solusvm guy to and do miss being able to set bw limits. makes it hard to sell vps's with proxmox when you cant set a limit and the client cant check to see how much he is using.
Do you know if and when you will include this feature? Also another big thing is bandwidth tracking. I dont see a way of setting a limit or even tracking/seeing what the usage is.
Thanks
Anyone know how either I or the user can reinstall their openvz vps OS/template. There doesnt seem to be a way to edit/change the template. Many users that I have one solusvm like to try different OS and would like the ability to change when they want. I dont see that option in proxmox for them...
I to and many others i know would really like KVM templates. I would like to use proxmox over solus and other virtualization software but we would really like to have templates. Not having the ability to use them is a big turn off for a bunch of people. Ive been on many forums and more and more...
I have a whole bunch of kvm templates in .gz format. I cant seem to find a answer on whether or not it is supported in proxmox. Is only iso file supported?
Thanks
