sorry for the thread spamming ....
Found the solution.... /etc/init.d/cman restart did the trick
I guess some sort of network failure could have caused the cluster issue hance blocking the vzdump ...
Could that be it? I remember some DNS problems yesterday.
Looking at my NASs, its not a space problem ... if that helps a bit
edit: one of my node looks offline in the GUI but its online.
Trying to give as much details as i can.
Hi!
I got this problem for the 1st time in maybe 2-3 weeks (upgraded from 1.9 to 2.3)
The vzdump script could not backup ANY of the 15 VMs running. All with the same error.
Is there a way to hrm ... fix this?
Thank you very much
proxmox:/dev/pve-san# pveversion -v
pve-manager: 2.3-13...
I see now, it created a folder "template/isos" inside my nfs share.... This should be changed because there's no way I'll move 100-150 isos since the nfs share is used elsewhere.
edit: bug sumitted on the bugtracker here: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=355
Hi,
I'd like to know if it was known that when you add a NFS share through the web interface it shows as empty.
I have a nfs share with 100+ isos. When I add it via the interface (I selected ISO from the list too) it shows as empty when I try to browse it.
The same thing happens with ISOS...
well, here is a better question...
can 2 proxmox server (not in a cluster) connect to the same LUN and same LVM on the lun and be able to run 1 kvm each on that same LUN? would there be a danger of corruption of the LUN?
Hello!
I'm in the process of migrating some KVM on iscsi from a proxmox 1.9 node to a 2.3 node.
I read here that I can connect 2 nodes on a single iscsi lun... I'm just wondering if I can simply add the iscsi on the proxmox 2.3 via the web interface without any danger of erasing the iscsi lun...
mounted them into /var/lib/vz/template/iso .... if anyone wondering the logic behind the "add directory" just mount them there too and they will be inside the "local" storage
[solved]cifs ISO storage
Hello all,
I have a cifs folder mounted in /mnt/iso
The folder has a lot of .iso files
When I go into the web interface I select "storage" and "add directory" ... I specify /mnt/iso and choose ISO out of the list .... Why on earth are my iso files arent appearing in...
Thank you for your answer.
I don't know why but windows 2008 and windows 7 seems to run better on proxmox 1.9 than 2.0+ with the same exact config (cache, ram, space, paravirtualized eth) I will investigate on that... that's the main reason I wanted to downgrade my box
Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it's possible to copy a .raw VM image from proxmox 2.0 (or 2.1) to a proxmox 1.9.
I would test it myself but I only have 1 server at the moment and I wanted to maybe downgrade it from 2.1 to 1.9.
Thanks for your time =)
