Hi there,
We are trying to use a vzdump hook script to do some things. We have a Proxmox cluster setup with several hypervisors. We took a look at /usr/share/doc/pve-manager/examples/vzdump-hook-script.pl and made an adaptation:
#!/bin/bash
LIST_BORG_BACKUPS=${DUMPDIR}/list_borg_backups...
Hi Stoiko,
Thanks for your reply. Where and how we do that? Cannot see any place in the webgui to define any kind of greylisting configuration other than the possibility to enable/disable it.
Kind regards.
Hi there,
We know that Proxmox Mail Gateway has a 1st level of SMTP checks (before reaching 2nd leven Mail Filters/antispam rules) like the following:
Greylisting
SPF
RBL (at SMTP level)
Reiceiver Verification (on SMTP level)
And that they can be all disabled -in bulk- by adding some...
Hi Stoiko,
Yes, it helped alot, thank you.
As you suggested, we had sync issues with those services:
mail-filter02:~# systemctl status pmgmirror.service
● pmgmirror.service - Proxmox Mail Gateway Database Mirror Daemon
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/pmgmirror.service; enabled; vendor...
Hi again,
Found this: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/relay-access-denied-on-cluster-slave.40844/
And /etc/pmg/domains and /etc/pmg/transport files had an old modification time:
root@mail-filter02:~# ls -lh /etc/pmg/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 120 Mar 18 13:53 domains
-rw-r--r-- 1 root...
Hi there,
We have 2 Proxmox Mail Gateway nodes on a cluster. The cluster is OK and working great as an MX filter with several domains:
NAME(CID)--------------IPADDRESS----ROLE-STATE---------UPTIME---LOAD----MEM---DISK
mail-filter01(1) X.X.X.X master S 4 days 17:17 0.11 59% 34%...
Hi there,
We've been testing Proxmox Mail Gateway for a while and would like to promote them to production. We would like to change the hostname of the 2 Proxmox Mail Gateway nodes that conform the cluster. For non-clustered nodes we've found this...
Oh well, then that will explain why I was not seeing the logging of the custom rule (Mark Spam (Level 5) linux.cat), thanks. Will you consider adding it in next PMG updates/releases?
Yes, the subject was modified and the "SPAM: " string was added on both cases, so that's correct.
I have also...
Thank you guys for correcting the documentation.
But it does not seem to be working yet. Changed the Spam level to 5:
And made again 2 tests and still the matched rule is (rule: default-accept) instead of custom one (Mark Spam (Level 5) linux.cat):
- Spam level 5, score 5:
Mar 11...
But the documentation of the "What" objects seems to describe the opposite: https://pmgateway01.ilimit.es:8006/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html#pmg_mailfilter_what
Spam Filter: Matches if configured value if greater than the detected spam level.
So if I have configured a value of Spam level of 9...
Then why is being logged that the matched rule is (rule: default-accept)? I mean, isn't supposed to log the name of the rule? Previously I had "Mark Spam (Level 9) linux.cat" with an additional action to quarantine SPAM and this is what was being logged:
Mar 10 12:33:09 pmgateway01...
Hi there,
We are testing Proxmox Mail Gateway and we are doing tests with Mail Filter rules. We have the following test rules:
We are testing the rule "Mark Spam (Level 9) linux.cat" that has this configuration:
The Who object "Domini linux.cat" is like this:
The other Mail Filter...
Hi there,
I am trying to guess how can I create Mail Filter rules via API (pmgsh). I did some testing:
# Added a domain as a permitted relay
$ pmgsh create /config/domains --domain test1.tld
# Added a Who object
$ pmgsh create /config/ruledb/who --name "Domain test.tld"
200 OK
26
# Added...
Thanks dietmar. So how does it work? KVM will automatically guess if hardware virtualization is available on the host CPU and if so, automatically use it? There isn't any configuration needed?
