true. to be honest Im still not 100% sure I cant live without them... Ill internal network is ok with 9000 (hopefully). Its all unifi. from vbr0(+vlans) for the pfsense and out its 1500. So I was thinking that this might not be the best idea. Ill re-test.
Hi,
I have a 10Gbe Unifi network linking proxmox's (one DAC SPF working as bridge - vlan aware) TrueNAS, pfsense and some other VMs with the important workstations.
With some initial testing I had a throughput limit with the default MTU and truenas (SSD vDevs) so I enabled jumbo frames in the...
OH NO. You havent got the correct card for what you need to do :) Sorry
Your card is running fine! I see no error in your Device manager.
A40 is a compute card. NOT a "graphics card". The "A40" graphics card is called A6000.
I know its confusing as you see DP connectors at the back, but I...
Im puzzled with your problem. I have moved to some ASUS servers too. dual 7763 too. I havent added any GPU yet but I might do in a couple of weeks. All my boxes at the moment work with bios defaults + IOMMU (4g decoding is default I think). I _DO NO_T have vGPU or other slicing/licensing so I...
hmm... I honestly dont remember. I was pissed and I edited setting without thinking much... I dont think gigabyte servers have a way to export in text the bios config?! no?? I have two gigabyte server with passthough working. The one above was a problem with A40. my other system has 8xA30 and...
just for future reference: Even though my IOMMU, 4G decoding and SV-IOR etc setting where ON (Gigabyte Epyc Milan chassis) I have to turn ON other random settings (honestly not sure...) to get it working...
(I know, not the best troubleshooting but at some point I lost track)
hi all,
I cant get around this code 12. I run a similar setup, Epyc and 2x A40s (gigabyte MB).
On linux I dont see any problems but on windows I get the code 12. IOMMU is ON etc. (I have followed the reddit passthrough guide etc).
My grub line is: "quiet amd_iommu=on pci=realloc...

Maybe you can advice me also? Anyone has an ideas how to get out of this situation?
Partition 2 is correctly formatted and the right EFI type. (re-applied it with fdisk just to be sure...)

All ok here.
But... init wont work.

My main NVME (ZFS) has messed up boot and I can't seem to find a way to fix it.
I installed a second PVE from scratch on an other NVME and Im trying to rescue/copy the VMs/LXCs from the first drive.
I can mount the "rpool" and "zfsdata" with "zpool import -R /mnt/firstrpool -f rpool" but...
