    Ubuntu 9.10 OpenVZ temaplate

    Hi, I tried downloading Ubuntu 9.10 from http://wiki.openvz.org/Download/template/precreated and copied the file accross to my proxmox 1.5 server. The temaplate does not seem to be usable. Can anyone point me to how I could use this openvz template on proxmox 1.5. Thanks, Tim

    unable to mount with cifs or nfs inside a openvz guest os.

    Hi, Thanks for the reply I did read the bug report in relation to apache issues. Has the patch been applied to the currently release of proxmox. I would be happy to raise a new bug report for the apache issue, just not sure where we stand with current patches on latest released version...

    There has been a patch listed for the live vzmigrate issue with the 2.6.24 kernel. http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=850#c5 Would the patch be any help to current Proxmox version? I think an admin of this project is aware of this patch? Tim

    Thanks for the link. Just for the record the issue was DNS and not Samba in the end. So did not need to change it over! Thanks for supplying such a great service :)

    Is is possible to change from venet to veth with openVZ once I have created a container. Some functions are not working and I would like to change this to see if it helps. Thanks, Tim

    Thanks very much for feedback everyone. Ubuntu server LTS is very un GUIish amd had has a very good track record ;)(see http://www.iaps.com/2008-server-reliability-survey.html) Looking forward to testing proxmox :)

    Just came across PVE today and almost can't believe what I am seeing! Looking forward to testing this at work, as we are looking to migrate from VMWARE server to KVM and this looks like it could be just the ticket! We run a mixture of Windows 2003, 2008 and Ubuntu Server (various editions)...
