Found this : "Setting the OS Type to "Vista/2008" (thus disabling hv-tlbflush) could be a useful workaround for now. If that fixes it for you, let us know, as we are currently investigating this issue. It seems like it has something to do with running on older hardware especially."...
Got a .raw file containing a Win7Pro image that ran fine on ProxMox 4.x Had to take care of some broken disks and decided to backup everything and replace the whole setup. Now I have a 6.0-4 with a couple Linux based VMs, so far all good. The trouble I have is with a Win7pro - It boots the win...
SOLVED - Did a vmdump without compression.
Made a new VM in 4.0 with a 60GB disk
Copied backup to new host server - unpacked it and replaced the disk file... all good

Hi All,
Let me start off with this...
I am using ProxMox for years now, what a wonderful product!!!
It is amazing what it can do...
Version 2 is just stellar.
One of the ways I use it is to 'rescue' old winBlows XP stuff from old PCs that are burning out.

Didn't know there was such hardware, cool.
Thanks for the tip!

Peter
