I think you're misinterpreting this. As I read it, OpenStack will *support* Sheepdog as part of the stack. But Sheepdog is not being integrated into Swift (the object storage layer of OpenStack).
Is there a way to set the defaults for the settings for creating new virtual machines? I haven't found anything that doesn't involve serious code hackery, but it's possible I've missed it.
If not, I would definitely like to see this in a future version of PVE.
My read/write rates are *relatively* low due to the disk subsystem, around 240MB/s. But that's more than is required for me, and definitely NOT a limitation of the Dolphin hardware at all. For DRBD, I use a syncer-rate of 60. It's fairly conservative, but adequate for what I'm doing.

Yes, I'm currently using Dolphin adapters connected to their switch both for DRBD and (with modified NFS stacks on the hosts and server) as NFS-based shared storage for Proxmox. It works fantastically well.
I've seen this error several times while building/adding to a Proxmox Cluster and it was always related to the time on the servers being too far apart from one another.
Are these systems NTP synced?
