i would try running
rsync -avrP --numeric-ids --delete root@<host>:/vz/private/<ctid>/ /vz/private/<ctid>
then shutdown the vm, run the rsync again and fire it up.
I use this frequently when upgrading a server. same id's on both sides, just 2 quick rsync's/vz and fire up on the other side...

I was rapidly evolving from 2.6.32 to 2.6.35: it seems in another server, my serverworks serial ata controller (BCM5785 [HT1000]) is recognized in 2.6.24 and 2.6.35, but not in 2.6.32....
However, turned that server back to 2.6.24 and he's fine too..

Just checked out the 2.6.35 kernel, I get no modules at install.
