  • Hi Hope you doing well... I came across your post here:
    http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/16328-How-to-configure-bridged-networking-on-KVM-guests-(pfSense)?highlight=pfsense

I'm hunting to find a solution for my Proxmox networking setup with pfsense. It seems you might be able to help me:)

I have one dedicated machine with ISP giving me 2 WAN subnets connecting to my single NIC interface (ETH1). Have a virtualize pfsense and all VM will route via the pfsense. Having some issues getting that to work. Would appreciate any assistance.
I have almost the same problem as you. I cannot make Infiniband woking.
    root@svc1:~# lspci | grep Mella
    03:00.0 InfiniBand: Mellanox Technologies MT26428 [ConnectX VPI PCIe 2.0 5GT/s - IB QDR / 10GigE
    ] (rev b0)
    root@svc1:~# lsb_release -a
    Distributor ID: Debian
    Description: Debian GNU/Linux 7.7 (wheezy)
    Release: 7.7
    Codename: wheezy
    But no IB devices visible:
    root@svc1:~# dmesg | grep ella
mlx4_core: Mellanox ConnectX core driver v1.1 (Dec, 2011)

    root@svc1:~# ls -al /sys/class/infi*
    /sys/class/infiniband:
    total 0

    /sys/class/infiniband_cm:
    total 0

I've tried to install MLNX_OFED_LINUX-2.3-2.0.0-debian7.5-x86_64.tgz, but it fails even is i patch my debian version.

Could you please give any suggestions how you have solved this problem?

Is that here an PM? I dont know. Doesnt found anything about messages here ...

Is the following possible for you?
I need access to a proxmox webpage where I could create 4 machines with Windows Server 2012 R2.
For the presentation I would need a german iso, if possible. (I could upload one for you! Licenses by me / MSDNAA/DreamSpark student licensed)

On two machines I would install DataCore 30-day-trial.
I use this machines only for a simple cluster which contains one virtual machine.

    Dates:
    Test: as soon as possible
    Setup for presentation: 02.05. - 04.05.
    Presentation: 09.05.

I send you some money per paypal for yor kindness after the presentation!
Hello I am interested in testing the virtualisation servers for SMEServer on Proxmox it is a Centos distro specifically for email calendars etc I will only need to use for server only applications on your Proxmox Servers and I understand you are asking for beta testers. I would need to send ISO image of SMEserver for 64 Bit or alternatively you can download from http://smeserver.org and http://mirror.contribs.org/releases/8/iso/x86_64/smeserver-x86_64.iso specifically.

I am Chairman of Southend on Sea Linux User Group http://soslug.org and I have a few members interested in virtualisation / Cloud

    Many Thanks Derek Shaw
Symcom, we have a non-profit. U used to work for Bob Young at Red Hat, We have one young staffer that seems to claim that I am an idiot for trying to use a two node cluster for our web services. "Clustering two server...clusterfuck is what it is. Nobody clusters two servers. They cluster hundreds of servers. This a 5 man shop. You don't cluster anything at this size" ...and so on.

I need someone with some experience to let our Founder know I am not full of shit. I co-founded our Non Profit, but I live about 80 miles away. So I come in once every several months. This Young Man in the office has been in the way of this project since day one. U have no clue why, except that he came from California and claims to have been a hot shot there. An email from you, as to what Proxmox has done for your organizations would be of great help.
