Hi there,
I was wondering whether there is a possibility to use cool 'n' quiet with the Hexacore-Opteron 4180. Is the kernel already supporting powernow?
When I tried to load the module acpi_cpufreq I just get:
kvmserver:~# modprobe acpi_cpufreq
FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq (/lib/modules/2.6.32-4-pve/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/acpi-cpufreq.ko): No such device
When I look at the path, shouldn't there be something like 'x64' instead of 'x86'?
Any help is appreciated!
Regards, Yves
