Hi i've noticed that i can save parameters for my openvz and kvm templates .
I have to edit "conf" file to apply the changes.

my version:

pve-manager: 1.5-10 (pve-manager/1.5/4822)
running kernel: 2.6.24-11-pve
proxmox-ve-2.6.24: 1.5-23
pve-kernel-2.6.24-11-pve: 2.6.24-23
qemu-server: 1.1-16
pve-firmware: 1.0-5
libpve-storage-perl: 1.0-13
vncterm: 0.9-2
vzctl: 3.0.23-1pve11
vzdump: 1.2-5
vzprocps: 2.0.11-1dso2
vzquota: 3.0.11-1
pve-qemu-kvm: 0.12.4-1

concerning error.log and access.log from apache2, there is no particular problems

Have you any ideas that could help ?

Hi,
do you get short a popup-window with "Please wait" when you click on the save-button?

For many changes you must stop the VM and start again, to activate the changes (but before ther must be in the conf-file).

Udo

Yes indeed a short popup.
But even with all my vm with the stop status, it's impossible to save.
i'm wondering why.

nop i didn't changes rights
and there is nothing particular in syslog and error.log

For KVM VMs, try to run 'qm set' manually - does that work. For example

# qm set <vmid> --mem 512

(see man qm for details)

yes all the command line work ( kvm and openvz)but the web interface doesn't.
But the most surprising it's even panel options like SYSTEM, NETWORK etc.. doesn't save.

I solved my problem:

The main problem comes from EmbPerl. When we analyzethe apache log, there is indeed the POST method but nothing more.
So it seems that making a complete reinstall of the package fix the problem.

I just change the sources.list in adding Squeeze.
-> deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main contrib non-free

then : apt-get --reinstall install libembperl-perl

no need to reboot the system or restart apache2 because the module is loading dynamically.
This is fixing the problems for :
- Impossible to select "TYPE"
- Impossible to save
- Impossible to change Network
