Packet loss does not

Why there is an occasional delay, which is undesirable, and around 20 - 30ms??

The system is configured in routing mode, but going by that bug even bridge mode.

Server HP ML330G6
2x Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5715 Gigabit Ethernet
driver: tg3 version: 3.102

In the previous test were used virtio driver. Now I used the E1000 driver and the result is lower latency. :-(

64 bytes from 10.0.1.2: icmp_seq=16 ttl=64 time=0.171 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.1.2: icmp_seq=17 ttl=64 time=96.6 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.1.2: icmp_seq=18 ttl=64 time=0.179 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.1.2: icmp_seq=19 ttl=64 time=0.205 ms

Well, because it certainly is not good. Just such latency should not be there to do. May have a problem VOIP IPTV etc. 1ms, but 20 or more ms.
