Unexpected delays

I just noticed that some mails are delayed up to 10 minutes (incoming mails). Any ideay why?

This is normal if you use greylisting. For an explanation take a look at http://projects.puremagic.com/greylisting/whitepaper.html

But those delays only occur if you never received a mail from that person before. This means that the system is learning, and will not delay mails from well known addresses.
