hi, im not 100% sure if this has come up before but what is the speed of the virtual internal switch that connects the VMs on each Proxmox Node in a cluster? Is it possible to adjust the speed? When i had a HyperV cluster the engineer who configured seemed rather proud of the fact that it had a virtual 10GB backbone switch. I know this would only affect the network traffic between the VMs on the same node or is this something that doesnt exist?

see iperf results (testing from a Linux VM to the Proxmox VE host, virtio network):

Code:
iperf -c 192.168.7.106
------------------------------------------------------------
Client connecting to 192.168.7.106, TCP port 5001
TCP window size: 23.5 KByte (default)
------------------------------------------------------------
[ 3] local 192.168.2.198 port 49960 connected with 192.168.7.106 port 5001
[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth
[ 3] 0.0-10.0 sec 10.5 GBytes 9.06 Gbits/sec
